Through connections, people grow beyond themselves, and what better way to connect to each other is there than through art? It's communication; it's struggle; it's love; it's a fight, and it's a hand stretched out to the viewer: Art is how we live, and it's a personal belief of mine to do good with that connection to the world so that I may grow. My name is Taha, and I'm an Artist.
To the Audience
I see the internet as many things: A distraction? Sometimes, sure, but also a "stage" and equally as important; a "bridge". Being a content creator let’s me form connections with people through my favourite pastime of making art. Sometimes I’ll create fan art in response to the other art in the world that has and continues to inspire me, and other times I’ll dig a little deeper into my creative powers and attempt my own original characters, concepts and stories. I predominantly make 2D illustration and concept art work but I also dip into the world of animation every now and again (especially in support of my brand). Speaking of my brand: I’ve also taken aboard the mantle of a "Masked Artist" while I hide my real appearance and wear a cartoon persona on the online space. The great thing about this avatar is it allows me to tell my own story of the artistic journey and my online adventure through what I do. Naturally, you can experience all of this on my socials as well as around this site! I recommend checking out the "Journey" section to get a basic run down of the story so far (Great for newcomers). In any case; I’m delighted that you chose to visit my cosy little corner of the internet and I sincerely hope you enjoy the art you find here.
A quick message to my friends and family who have seen behind the mask: I’m a shy boy. So much so that I’ve built my brand around it. My cartoony masked persona helps me keep my real life separate from my work as a content creator as well as generally hide from the glaring masses, so I would implore you to please keep what I look like (and any other personal info) away from the rest of my audience. If you’re wondering how to get around this if anyone asks you about it, just do what I do: Be vague. Sow doubt. Misdirect. Run away. Throw down a smoke bomb if you have to. When the curious entusiasts prod you with questions, simply remember these words:
Say Nothing. Imply Everything.
To Clients & Employers
Whether it's illustrating a book, Developing a video game or working on an animated production; I've always felt a drive to create high quality art for people. I can be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to the craft and I hate disappointing clients so I work as hard as it takes to satisfy their artistic needs. I'm confident in my abilities although I'm aware I have yet a lot to learn. Ever eager to improve my skills in my profession; I know that learning from the more experienced and being taught by the journey itself are the ways to grow as a professional.
